The Children’s ministry at White Hall Baptist Church is a growing ministry that welcomes age's birth thru 6th grade.  We have classrooms for each age group with dedicated and loving teachers that are eager to share God with each child that walks through the doors.  We also provide a children’s church for ages 3yrs thru 1st grade for children on Sunday mornings and evenings during worship service.

Each Sunday night during the school year, at 5:00 PM we offer Awana for the children.  This is a wonderful structured time for children to learn the Word of God.

Our two nurseries are staffed with loving caregivers that will give your child their utmost attention, from playing on the floor with them to holding and comforting a crying toddler and all with God’s love in plain view.

Our children’s classes range from pre-k thru sixth grade and offer lots of opportunities to grow and share in God’s creations and His word.  Each Sunday School teacher prepares to teach and show your child how much God loves them and welcomes any addition that God sends to their room.  Also we have classes on Sunday night for each age group.  Pre K thru 3rd grade have choir and signing at 5pm on Sunday evenings and 4th grade thru 6th grade have 30 minutes of class and 30 minutes of choir and signing during the 5pm hour.  Our children sing once a month during Sunday evening worship and present a Christmas musical.

Wednesdays are full of special groups for each age level.  Pre K thru 1st grade have Mission Friends where boys and girls will learn about helping others, 2nd grade thru 6th grade boys have royal Ambassadors that will teach young boys to grow into Godly men and our girls have GA for 2nd grade thru 6th grade and this class helps our young girls to grow into Godly women.  A Bible Drill class is also available to our children on Monday nights so they can learn Scripture and hide it in their hearts.

We also have a special day of fun once a month for this age group, either on a Saturday or Sunday.  We call this our Super Saturday or Sunday and we have lunch and play games, do craft, learn songs and have a devotional.

White Hall Baptist Church views any child that comes through our doors as a blessing that God has sent to us and we welcome all with glad hearts and open arms.

White Hall Baptist Church has a very energetic and dedicated youth ministry available to all youth.  We fully support our youth and their activities because they symbolize the future of Christianity and our mission statement is to Reach, Teach, and Lead.  Reach out to lost or unchurched students, Teach our students God’s word, and equip them to Lead other to Christ.

We have two groups of teenagers, 7th & 8th grade and 9th thru 12th grades.  We have Sunday school and discipleship training classes for both ages.  Our youth group is a very active group.  We have signing and drama open for anyone that wants to join.  We practice on Wednesday’s at 6pm and Sunday’s at 4pm.  Also our youth have formed a praise group that sings every other month during worship service.  The youth of WHBC present programs twice a year.

Our Wednesday night classes offer a variety of options that begins at 7pm.  We have Friends and Fun night on the 1st Wednesday of each month and the kids invite friends and we have snacks and have fun.  Our boys and girls separate on the 2nd Wednesday night of the month to give each other room to learn more about how to follow Jesus as young men and women.

The young ladies, both groups, go to Acteens and our young men have a Dare class and these two classes teach how to have courage to live by God’s standards today.  Our older youth and younger youth separate on the 3rd Wednesday night and our 4th Wednesday night is small group time with a leader for each age and gender.  This class helps these young people to bond together and encourage each the in their daily walk with Christ.

White Hall youth is a mission minded group and every summer they participate in a week long summer mission.  We also have an ongoing mission throughout the year in Gallaway, TN.

We also have a once a month event for our youth that can range from movie night to visiting church members and visitors.  We also attend youth conferences, county sponsored events and other activates that promote God’s word.

WHBC youth will welcome all visitors to join us as we Reach, Teach and Lead in God’s plan.

Our women are very active in missions and various ministries at White Hall.  We meet once a month for missions education and once a month for an emphasis on prayer.  Each year we have special emphasis for each; International, North America and State Missions.  Each month we go to Harlan Morris and Holiday House  retirement homes for singing and a short devotional.

Our youth and children are involved in missions through Acteens, Actweens, GA’s, RA’s and Mission Friends.

Music is a valuable aspect of our worship.  At White Hall, we have a choir and a praise team.  We sing some of the wonderful classic hymns of our faith, as well as some of the new inspirational praise songs.  If you would like to get involved with the music ministry, Brother Jim Criswell has a place for you.

Brother Jim has been faithfully leading church worship since 1966.  He has been a worship leader at five different churches, the longest being at First Baptist, Trenton for 32 years (1970-1975, 1981-2009). In February 2009, Brother Jim retired, realizing God was not finished with him, accepted a call here at White Hall.

Brother Jim says, “White Hall is filled with wonderful people who love the Lord. They are serving and giving people in the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

The Brotherhood of White Hall have a long standing tradition of reaching the men of our community. Many years ago the men of the church began offering Sunday morning breakfasts to the community. Almost instantly, several of the senior men of the community invited Christ into their lives while attending one of these prayer breakfasts.

The Brotherhood Ministry has continued that tradition and offers a breakfast on the third Sunday of each month before Sunday School.  Not only is food offered, but someone is invited to come share a message with everyone in attendance.  And the prayer breakfast is now open to everyone, not just men.

This is wonderful ministry for you get involved with if you would like to reach other men in our community.  We also have an annual golf tournament to reach lost people, and we go to men’s conferences to help us grow in our faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
